The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Digital Assets Trading Leader to join our team at NAX Capital in Melbourne, Australia. This pivotal role combines expertise in cryptocurrency trading with a passion for education and mentorship. As a trading manager and educator, you will lead, coach, and mentor our team while building and enhancing our trading and education department. The ideal candidate is a crypto trading specialist who excels as a tutor, possesses deep knowledge of market analysis, and understands the macroeconomic and microeconomic factors influencing digital assets.

You will be instrumental in guiding clients with patience and professionalism, educating them on trading, digital asset regulatory frameworks, trading insights, and risk management strategies. You will manage teams effectively and ensure uncompromising accuracy and success in all trading activities. This is an opportunity to shape the future of digital assets trading at NAX Capital.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the trading team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, accountability, and high performance.

Develop and implement comprehensive trading strategies that leverage technical and fundamental analysis to optimise outcomes in digital assets.

Conduct in-depth crypto research, identifying market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

Oversee the education department, designing and delivering tutoring programs that empower clients and team members with practical trading knowledge, including:

• Educating clients on trading principles and techniques.
• Providing insights into digital asset regulatory frameworks and compliance.
• Sharing trading insights to enhance decision-making.
• Teaching clients how to define and create effective risk management strategies.

Mentor and coach junior traders and educators, guiding macroeconomic and microeconomic impacts on digital assets.

Engage with clients professionally, offering patient and tailored advice to help them achieve their trading goals.

Monitor and evaluate trading performance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and sustained success without compromise.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate trading insights into broader business strategies.

Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the digital assets sector.

What We're Looking For:

• Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage diverse teams towards shared goals.
• Proven track record in cryptocurrency trading, with demonstrable success in managing portfolios and executing trades.
• Extensive knowledge of technical analysis (e.g., chart patterns, indicators) and fundamental analysis (e.g., project valuation, market sentiment).
• Experience in crypto research and strategy development, including risk management and portfolio optimisation.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic principles and their application to digital assets markets.
• Background in education or tutoring, ideally in financial or trading contexts, with the ability to simplify complex concepts, including regulatory education and risk management.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced financial environment, with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications (e.g., CFA, crypto-specific credentials) are highly regarded.
