We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join a thriving team within the financial services industry. This temporary role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to key financial operations and reporting processes.

The role commences ASAP as a contract, with the opportunity to transition into something longer term or even a permanent role for the right candidate.

As the organisation experiences a period of growth and transformation, they are looking for a hands-on Senior Financial Accountant to join the team as the organisation integrates the entities and continues to experience ongoing organic growth.

Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:

  • Balance sheet and GL reconciliations
  • Prepare and review financial statements for multiple entities
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
  • Analyse financial data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve accuracy.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA/CPA qualification
  • A good attention to detail
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
