Qualifications & experience

  • 3 + years' experience in the Horticulture industry in Team Leader or 2IC roles
  • Current unrestricted drivers' licence, MR desirable but not essential
  • Cert III in Parks and Gardens or Cert III in Landscape Construction essential or evidence of extensive experience obtained
  • Experience operating and maintaining large range of commercial landscape maintenance and construction equipment.
  • The ability to lead and encourage team members to work effectively together.
  • Good time management and communication skills
  • Current Chemcert is desirable, or willing to obtain.
  • The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace
  • A desire to provide a high quality commercial maintenance service

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Variations run with jobs all round Sydney
  • Completion of soft and hard landscape works as required
  • Manage your team
  • Organisation and programming of tasks completed on site
  • Management of team to ensure efficiency and quality is maintained.
  • Organisation of materials as required
  • Regularly liaising with our Management Team and work with them to provide a high quality service for the client.
  • Ensuring all works are completed in a safe manner.
  • Role is project based, working with the team to ensure targets are met for each job.
  • Management of a variety of landscapes onsite, more specifically parks, gardens and various landscapes throughout our diverse client base.
  • Completion of associated documentation on regular basis.
