  • Significant leadership role leading national wellbeing programs that "inspire happiness and change lives".
  • Work collaboratively to design and deliver proactive, early intervention strategies that build resilience and support emotional wellbeing.
  • Member of the senior leadership team.

The Position

In this senior leadership position, you will oversee national program operations, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery, while maintaining ongoing relationships aimed at achieving wellbeing and educational outcomes for thousands of participants across Australia.

As Head of Education, you will manage a team of Partnership Managers to support the implementation, engagement, and effectiveness of wellbeing programs across schools and early learning settings. The role involves facilitating support for schools and centres throughout various stages, including onboarding and continued annual engagement.

Reporting to the CEO, and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will collaborate with colleagues to influence The Resilience Project's (TRP) strategic direction, organisational culture, and long-term impact.

The organisation is seeking candidates who align with TRP's values and are committed to its purpose of inspiring happiness and making a positive difference.

To be successful in this role you have an open, empathetic leadership stye that nurtures collaboration and drives outcomes through high performance. Candidates may draw on their experience in senior leadership roles in schools (such as Principal, Deputy, Assistant Principal levels) and will ideally couple this with additional professional experiences outside of a school environment that has developed strong strategic and commercial capabilities. You will have a natural affinity to developing and refining service models to meet changing needs to drive greater impact across communities.

The Organisation

The Resilience Project inspire happiness and change lives by teaching positive mental health strategies to help people be happier and more resilient.

Through education and workplace programs, podcasts, events and wellbeing resources, TRP shares the benefits of gratitude, empathy, mindfulness and emotional literacy along with simple ways to practise these to support positive mental health.

Having delivered programs to over 2,000 schools around the country and worked with many elite sporting teams, including the Australian cricket, netball and soccer teams, NRL and AFL clubs, the vision is simple yet powerful:
Wellbeing. Every home. Every day.
