About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker to join our team at Elan Construct' in Wetherill Park, NSW. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and furniture in a full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the success of our growing construction company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, manufacturing and installing custom cabinetry and furniture
  2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  3. Selecting and preparing appropriate materials and hardware
  4. Operating a variety of woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently
  5. Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and building codes
  6. Collaborating with the construction team to coordinate project timelines and deliveries
  7. Providing excellent customer service and addressing any client queries or concerns

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Cabinetmaker, preferably within the construction industry
  2. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  4. Proficient in the use of power tools, machinery, and hand tools
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  6. Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
