1300apprentice is a Group Training Organisation operating throughout NSW. We are looking for motivated individuals for a variety of apprenticeships in various locations across Sydney, the Illawarra, and the Southern Highlands. These opportunities will commence after the HSC exams or in early 2026.

What better way to start your HSC exams than knowing you already have a job?

We offer apprenticeship opportunities in:

  • Horticulture: Landscaping, Parks & Gardens, Retail Nursery, Sports Turf Management (green keeping), arboriculture.
  • Automotive: Light Vehicle Mechanical, Heavy Vehicle Mechanical, Auto Electrical, Pain & Panel, Parts Interpreter
  • Electrical: Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Air-con & Refrigeration, Telecommunications, Electronics
  • Engineering: Boiler Making, Fitter/Machinist, Sheet Metals, Printing.
  • Construction: Carpentry, Shopfitting, Cabinetmaking, Plumbing

Interviews will be held during the spring school holidays, however, please let us know if . you cannot make this time, and we will arrange something more suitable.

What we are looking for:

  • A genuine interest in the chosen apprenticeship
  • Commitment to completing a Certificate III or IV
  • Must NOT have completed the same qualification or qualification at a higher level in the same trade
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills

You will be employed through 1300apprentice and paid to undertake formal accredited training while you learn new on-the-job skills in your chosen trade.

An apprenticeship is a great way to start your career. You can get qualified without incurring HEX debt or juggling study with part-time jobs to pay the bills. You will be earning from the first day your new career starts.
