Job Description:

EF International Language Schools Pty Limited is seeking a highly motivated and professional Accommodation Manager to join our vibrant team in Perth. As an Accommodation Manager, you will play a vital role in the student experience by overseeing the recruitment of local hosts, managing homestay visits, and ensuring the smooth operation of student residences. This role requires a proactive and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the School Director and be responsible for the recruitment and management of host families, adhering to EF policy.

  • Implement the host family recruitment plan.

  • Undertake telemarketing and act as the primary point of contact for host family enquiries, providing excellent customer care via phone and email.

  • Conduct off-site promotional recruitment activities, including participation in street actions, events, fairs, and leafleting.

  • Manage and prioritise all enquiries from prospective hosts, ensuring timely and informative responses.

  • Conduct thorough visits to prospective hosts to assess their suitability, complete detailed visit forms, and ensure compliance with relevant accreditations and local authorities.

  • Provide comprehensive support and guidance to host families, ensuring all questions are answered and appropriate documentation is provided.

  • Track and analyse weekly recruitment statistics, collaborating with the Accommodation Team and School Director.

  • Deliver exceptional customer support service to both host families and international students, addressing concerns and ensuring positive experiences.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing residence suppliers, while proactively seeking opportunities to expand and improve our accommodation portfolio.

  • Efficiently process and maintain homestay provider records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Participate in a shared emergency on-call roster with other school staff.

Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A Diploma or at least 3 years relevant work experience.

  • A strong customer service focus and a positive attitude.

  • Target-driven with excellent organisational abilities.

  • Proven leadership experience or potential.

  • Appreciation for diverse international cultures.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and composure under pressure.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Complete fluency in English (both written and spoken).
