Join the Department of Transport as a Team Leader – Business Centre
Are you a confident and inspiring leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? We're looking for a proactive Team Leader to guide a dedicated front-line team across Licensing Business Centre. In this pivotal role, you'll champion service excellence, ensuring smooth daily operations while mentoring staff, driving performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will help shape a responsive and efficient customer service experience that makes a real difference to the community.
As a Team Leader, you'll be hands-on in managing staff performance, training, rostering, and development, while acting as a vital link between the team and the Centre Manager. You'll also play a key role in implementing and tracking performance targets, resolving escalated customer enquiries, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Currently there are two (2) permanent full-time opportunities.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months from date of first appointment across the Department of Transport.
