Qualifications & experience

  • Relevant Trade Qualification of a Diesel Mechanic
  • Proven experience working on diesel powered construction equipment
  • Proven experience working on diesel trucks and trailers serviced and maintained to NHVR standards
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnosis skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • HR License is a requirement
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and teamwork skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Forklift license desirable

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs & diagnostics
  • Major & Minor Servicing
  • Maintenance of earthmoving machinery, attachments and trucks
  • Onsite and workshop repairs
  • Maintain Accurate and complete service records
  • Understanding and commitment to workplace safety protocols and guidelines
