Overview

Genus Plus Group offers innovative and fully integrated power distribution, transmission, substation, mechanical, and electrical & instrumentation services, bringing together solutions for all aspects of power, E&I and renewable energy projects.

The Role: Genus Plus Group is seeking a Construction Manager to join a new project working a 2:1 roster.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, specialists, contractors, and labourers, and coordinate their schedules
  • Attend coordination and progress meetings; make regular trips to sites during construction including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress site visits, punch walks, and construction closeout
  • Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process
  • Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents, and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
  • Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions
Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience
  • Trade and/or Engineering Certificate preferably in the Electrical industry
  • S26 Qualified
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high performance teams
  • Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Construction Induction Card
  • High level customer relationship management and interpersonal skills
