About the Position

Are you an experienced planning professional ready to lead strategic growth in a dynamic Pilbara community?

In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the Shire's statutory and strategic planning functions, provide expert advice to Council and stakeholders, and drive innovative land use and development initiatives. From assessing complex development applications to leading strategic land projects and policy development, your work will directly contribute to shaping the future of the Shire of Ashburton.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, community-focused environment, demonstrates strong leadership and strategic problem-solving skills, and is proactive, collaborative, and committed to delivering sustainable outcomes. The ideal candidate will confidently manage planning services, land transactions, and key stakeholder relationships.
