The Rollers Group is an independent Australian owned company that has divisions in Construction Rental, Concrete, and Quarry. Supplying industry leading quality compaction equipment, water trucks, tractors and mobile site amenities solutions to all government, public and private sectors across Australia. With 6 depots across 2 states and continuously growing, you will be working in a dedicated, highly experienced, close team.

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Mechanic to join our team. This will be a workshop postion out of the Tamworth depot to assist our team in Tamworth.

All levels of skills & experience are encouraged to apply as training will be provided for the successful applicant.

Qualifications & experience

  • Motor Mechanic or Plant Mechanic.
  • Experience in diesel engines, hydraulics, air conditioning, and auto electrics is advantageous
  • White card, forklift licence, HR licence & air conditioning ticket is desirable, or willingness & ability to obtain
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Performing servicing, general repairs and breakdowns on a fleet of road compaction equipment and various other types of road construction equipment.
  • Workshop based
