About the Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you'll be the driving force behind national growth, representing this premium portfolio of brands across Victoria. This role blends strategic planning with on-the-ground execution, focusing on expanding retail networks and enhancing brand visibility at the store level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and execute the retail sales strategy to meet and exceed growth targets
* Identify, approach, and secure new retail opportunities across Victoria
* Train and support retail teams to ensure high standards in brand and product presentation
* Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key retailers, serving as their go-to contact
* Partner with marketing teams to activate in-store promotions, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives and attend Expo's
* Stay across industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to refine sales tactics
* Regularly travel interstate for face-to-face engagement, training, and sales meetings
About You:
You're a strategic, high-energy, and extremely polished sales professional with a strong background in B2B sales. As the face of the brand across Victoria, you present with confidence, professionalism, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with retail partners. You thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy travel, and take pride in representing premium, design-led products to the market.
Your Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in business development, account management, or retail sales - ideally within baby, juvenile, or premium consumer goods
* A solid background in B2B selling, with the ability to manage and grow partnerships across multiple retail channels
* Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to lead strategic conversations with key stakeholders
* Polished communication skills and a natural ability to influence, engage, and inspire
* Organised, detail-driven, and confident in reporting and territory management
* Passion for beautifully presented, high-quality products and delivering an elevated brand experience
* Comfortable working independently and committed to regular interstate travel
