General Description:
The Commercial Capability Manager is responsible for contributing to the evolution of the Campari AU CRM platform (Salesforce) orglobal equivalent; the development, and supporting the delivery of, Field team KPIs and alignment with business strategy; delivering the Sales capability agenda through global and local programs; reporting and management of our sales assets and continuous improvement within the sales function to drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Operations
- Work with Sales Operations Executive and Head of Field Sales in CRM tool (Salesforce) system capability and functionality Perfect Venue (PVS) and Perfect Store (PSS) score programs and compliance.
- Support in the implementation of global sales capability applications.
Contribute to the development of Field team objectives, KPIs and targets, ensuring alignment cross-functionally and with our strategic business plan.
Work collaboratively with the Head of Field Sales and Field Sales Manager/s to support the management and delivery of Field team expectations.
- Partner with the Commercial Excellence Manager to coordinate call cycle processes and deliver minor and major cycle briefings.
Sales Capability
- Lead the coordination of internal Campari Way of Selling program and other core capability programs.
- Develop local programs to support Campari Way of Selling and deliver on the broader commercial capability strategy.
- Management and coordination of training events in collaboration with HR and/or other functions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual Sales calendar.
- Together with the Head of Commercial Excellence and National Field Sales Manager, coordinate, review and ensure focus areas are actioned for the Area Sales Manager/s and Field Sales Manager/s capability development tracker.
- Proactively identify opportunities for developing Sales capability and continuous improvement.
Sales Reporting
- Support the development of commercial reporting tools and proactively identify and track opportunities for focus.
- Support with the maintenance of "Masterdata" including wholesaler data, pricing files and CPI, IRI and other outlet and relevant data.
- Work with Sales Operations Executive on data integrity and other ad-hoc requests
Projects and Other
- Work on core business projects as required.
- Connect with Area Sales Manager/s and Field Sales Manager/s regularly to obtain intel and key information on what is happening in trade.
- Support with Commercial Newsletter and other communication tools to drive engagement.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Degree qualified in Business, Commerce or equivalent;
- At least 5+ years' working within FMCG and/or Liquor industry;
- Previous experience in a Sales or Sales supporting role with a strong capability focus;
- Previous experience in a Sales, Account Management or Sales Capability role is highly desirable;
- Demonstrated commercial acumen;
- Proven ability to create engaging, collegial and trusting relationships;
- Recognised skills to engage and motivate teams to strive towards high performance;
- Sound experience with IT and systems knowledge of Aztec, Salesforce and/or other CRM tools;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
