About the Role
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all machinery and equipment within our facility. Leading a skilled maintenance team, you will develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot technical issues, and minimize downtime. You'll also play a critical role in maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance with WorkSafe Victoria regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to support smooth production operations.
– Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
– Oversee the use of the FIIX CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System), ensuring work orders are created, assigned, and completed in a timely manner.
– Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OHS standards and industry regulations.
– Oversee machinery installation, repairs, and maintenance to minimize downtime.
– Manage maintenance budgets and control spare parts inventory.
– Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize equipment performance.
– Monitor maintenance KPIs and report on equipment reliability and performance.
About You:
– 3+ years of maintenance management experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
– Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
– Proven track record of implementing preventive maintenance and reducing equipment downtime.
– Solid understanding of OHS regulations and safety compliance.
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
– Relevant qualifications in engineering, maintenance, or a related technical field.
