Mechfield FM is a multi service asset maintenance provider which includes HVAC, Fire, Electrical, Plumbing and Building Services that has successful long-term relationships with our clients both in the Commercial Property, Aged Care and Telco/Data sector. Our flat, boutique structure allows us to execute and iterate ideas quickly, providing us with a competitive edge within the industry.

Due to extensive growth, we are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team.

The Opportunity:

An amazing opportunity is now available for an experienced HVAC Service Manager to join the Service team based in Hallam VIC

The Service Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a dynamic team of service technicians to ensure that the service needs in Victoria are met.

Reporting to the State Manager, some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Service Delivery and Quality – Providing support to applied products including and not limited to commissioning, maintenance, warranty service and breakdown services.

Staff Management and Development – Lead, coach and encourage staff, particularly technicians under your direct supervision to achieve performance and efficiencies.

Provide technical support to the field technicians and clients.

The Right Person:

To be considered for this opportunity; you will need to obtain the following:

At least 10 years' experience in the HVAC-R or similar industry, with 3-5 years in a supervisory or management capacity or 5+ years in a technical role is desirable.

Extensive understanding of the HVAC-R industry

Strong people management skills, with particular emphasis on developing teams and driving performance.

Excellent communication skills- with the ability to deliver clear messages and communicate with external and internal stakeholders, with understanding and professionalism.

Ability to identify, promote and implement continuous improvements to increase efficiency and enhance quality to our service department.

Must be computer literate
