About the role
Bedshed is seeking a casual Warehouse Storeman / delivery driver to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate storage and distribution of our products, as well as the safe delivery of items to our customers' homes.
What you'll be doing
- Receive, unload, and store incoming stock items in the warehouse
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery
- Load and deliver orders to customers' homes, ensuring a professional and courteous service
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies
- Assist with the general upkeep and organisation of the warehouse
- Collaborate with the wider team to optimise warehouse operations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar warehousing or delivery role
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a high-quality experience
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg regularly)
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to contribute to the overall success of the business
- Valid Australian driver's licence with clean driving record
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing systems
