Our client is a well-established manufacturer of construction chemicals used for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing, and protecting.

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician or Chemist to join their team in the manufacturing department at their Wetherill Park site.

Day Shift Rate: $42.16 p/h

Hours of Work: 6am–2pm between Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Collecting and testing samples from production lineChecking that all finished goods are within specified limitsPerform Viscosity, PH, spread-ability, colour and adhesive testing.Check all required tests have been conducted and information notedReport any issues to productionCreate laboratory products as directed by the chemistsFile retained samples

Essential Criteria:

Tertiary degree, diploma or certificate in science or chemistryQC lab or production testing experienceInterest in working with chemicals, concrete, paint or adhesives Good written and spoken communication skillsSound MS Excel skillsMust be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kgDriver licence (Red P's or above)Full working rights in Australia
