3M are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality lab technician to join their Personal safety division. This is a hands-on position and includes manual handling of masses and equipment around the laboratory. The working hours are from 8 till 5 with a 1-hour lunch.
- Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:_
- Executing the product testing program in a timely manner
- Reading, understanding, and providing an interpretation of all relevant international Standards of manufactured products.
- Maintaining the testing facilities in line with company guidelines
- Assisting the lab staff with testing procedures to maximise productivity and quality.
- Submit reports in the required format in the required timeframe regularly.
- Raising corrective actions and filing appropriate documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintaining the testing facilities in line with company guidelines and ensuring their certification and ongoing compliance with AS/NZS 1891 and NATA requirements.
- Assisting the Quality Supervisor in maintaining NATA test house accreditation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Manufacturing background experience is highly desired
- The right attitude, willingness to learn and Strong attention to detail are a must-have
- Graduates are encouraged to apply.
