An exceptional opportunity is available for a State Manager to lead Cedar Woods' South Australian development activities. Reporting to the Managing Director and COO, this senior executive role combines leadership, development oversight, portfolio growth and team management. It offers an accomplished leader the opportunity to shape the next phase of Cedar Woods' success in South Australia.
The successful candidate will manage the South Australian development activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards. They will demonstrate clear commercial thinking, sound risk management and customer awareness, driving growth through acquisitions, joint ventures and new development opportunities. Strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills will be key to building productive relationships with government, industry, consultants and the community.
This role requires a credible and values-driven leader who empowers teams, holds others accountable, and fosters innovation and continuous improvement. They will ensure governance, ESG and compliance standards are met, while reporting on performance and supporting cross-state initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in residential and commercial development, ideally across multiple states, with a proven record in acquisitions, feasibility, delivery and financial management. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities are essential, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications and, ideally, postgraduate study.
