We are currently seeking an accomplished Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to provide strategic and operational HR leadership across our business divisions.
In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving workforce capability, engagement, and performance outcomes aligned with various entities and their strategic objectives. You will partner closely with head of department and senior management to deliver best-practice HR solutions that support a high-performing, compliant, and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with divisional leaders to identify, develop, and deliver people strategies that align with business objectives and growth targets.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on all areas of HR, including employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, remuneration, and compliance.
- Lead and manage end-to-end employee relations matters ensuring fair, timely, and compliant outcomes.
- Collaborate with recruitment, payroll, and training teams to ensure seamless employee lifecycle processes.
- Drive initiatives that enhance organisational culture, engagement, and retention.
- Support the development and execution of HR frameworks and policies that promote consistency and compliance across multiple business units.
- Partner with leaders to identify workforce trends and provide insights through data-driven reporting and analytics.
- Coach and mentor managers to build leadership capability and promote accountability across teams.
- Contribute to HR projects focused on continuous improvement, system optimisation, and policy development.
- Ensure adherence to industrial instruments, Fair Work legislation, and company policies.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5–8 years' experience in a generalist HR or HR Business Partner role within a complex, fast-paced organisation.
- The ability to complete domestic travel for coverage of assigned regions.
- Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and operational stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and performance matters end-to-end.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or related discipline.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, culture building, and delivering results.
- Experience working within industries such as equipment hire, construction, or mining will be highly regarded.
