About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Planner/Scheduler with an interest or background in project coordination to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting production planning and scheduling, while also playing a key role in assisting with overall project delivery and coordination.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into an Assistant Project Manager role or who already brings a mix of planning and project support skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure parts arrive on time for assembly
  • Order and manage stock for the workshop
  • Produce clear and realistic work schedules
  • Organise logistics and transport of parts and equipment
  • Prepare and send job quotes as required
  • Track progress of jobs in collaboration with the workshop team and Supervisor
  • Support project delivery by assisting with timelines, updates, and coordination of tasks across departments
  • Assist in reporting, documentation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders

About You
  • Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or project coordination
  • A machinist trade background will be highly regarded
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
  • Full Australian working rights
