What You'll Do

  • Provide personal care: assist with showering, dressing, toileting, medication support, and mobility.
  • Daily living support: meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks.
  • Community engagement: accompany participants to social outings, shopping, GP visits, and recreational activities.
  • SIL & overnight support: work in SIL residences and undertake sleepover/overnight duties (both passive and active where required).
  • Skill development & therapy support: assist with implementing occupational, speech, and behavioral therapy strategies under professional guidance.
  • Safety & wellbeing: monitor and report on participant progress, incidents, and health concerns; uphold privacy, dignity, and independence.

  • Driver's license & reliable transport desirable (for community outings, travel between service sites).
  • Willingness to travel across the Mornington Peninsula/Frankston/Cranbourne region.

Essential Requirements (or Willing to Obtain)

  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Valid Australian driver's license & reliable transport (desirable).
  • Smartphone (iOS 13+ or Android 6+) for rostering and reporting.
  • Willingness to obtain First Aid & CPR certification if not already held.
  • Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent is preferred—but not strictly required if you bring the right attitude and willingness to learn.
