We are looking for experienced 
Open Cut Mining Engineers
 for 
multiple roles
, to assist our Tier 1 Clients in 
the Hunter Valley in NSW & Bowen Basin in Qld.
 The roles are
9 day fortnight in NSW or 8/6 rosters in QLD
, with 
FIFO Brisbane, or DIDO NSW or Central QLD
on offer.

The Roles

The roles involve supporting active 
open cut operations in NSW & QLD

Working with established technical services teams, you will assist with day to day support to enable smooth operations with regards to mine planning and execution support.

All travel time and costs, as well as accommodation will be covered, ensuring you are not out of pocket for any expenses, alongside Prime Mining's industry leading remuneration.

The roles involve options for the disciplines below:

• Short/medium term planning and design (truck & shovel dig/dump, or dragline).
• Scheduling, forecasting and budgeting.

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

• A 
  tertiary qualification
   in Mining/Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Located 
  in Brisbane or DIDO range of Bowen Basin, willing to relocate there
  .
• You have 
  previous practical experience in underground mining in Australia
  and an established understanding of mining operations.
• Software expertise such as Deswik, Vulcan, Spry, Shotplus, Blastlogic or similar will be required.
• Current Australian drivers licence.
• Have exceptional and professional communication skills to engage and influence other personnel within the business.
• Have excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
• Have an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
