What you'll be doing
The Project Officer role sits within the Primary Care team and supports the implementation, management and monitoring of a diverse range of projects, events, contracts and services which aims to support the vital work of the primary care sector in providing accessible, comprehensive, and patient-centred care, promoting and maintaining the health of individuals and their communities. The role requires the development and maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the Primary Care Team within the Office of the Chief Executive.

In addition to base salary:
- 12% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
- 10 days sick leave
- 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health or health promotion or equivalent, and relevant professional experience and training.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the primary health care sector and its role within the wider health system in relation to cancer control would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in program or project management and the application of project management principles and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project milestones, deliverables and desired outcomes.
If successful for interview candidates must bring original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to panel.

- Please outline a primary health care related project you have managed from initiation to completion. What was the scope, and what tools or methodologies did you use to manage it including the management of risks and timeframes.
- Can you describe a time when you successfully engaged and collaborated with stakeholders to support or deliver a primary health care project or initiative? Please include how you managed stakeholder expectations.
