THE ROLE

As Assistant Project Manager, you will be part of a team managing projects from concept to completion. Your skill set will enable you to fulfil the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Administer contracts and coordinate consultants, contractors and suppliers
  • Interpret and analyse construction drawings and documentation
  • Proactively manage tasks with professionalism
  • Support procurement processes including quotations or tenders
  • Communicate effectively through reports and meeting minutes
  • Apply knowledge of Australian Standard and GC21 contracts

ABOUT YOU

This is a full-time role that offers the right person career progression in a growing organisation that is keen to teach you the skills and provide experience you'll need to progress in being a successful Project Manager. The final package will be commensurate with relevant experience, with a salary range of $80-$100k plus Super.

You'll bring:

Qualifications

  • Degree (or in final year) in relevant discipline such as building, engineering, architecture, construction or project management
  • 2+ years of experience in the Australian construction or property development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Project a plus)
  • Current driver licence (mandatory) and Industry Induction Card
  • Full Australian working rights
