About the Emergency Department
The Emergency department is committed to promoting the highest level of care for our patients. In realising this goal, the department will lead and excel in research, teaching and the use of person-centred evidence-based practice. The Emergency Department has over 89,000 presentations a year, making it one of Victoria's busiest Emergency departments.
About the role
We have 2 permanent part time positions available for individuals with experience in customer service, and administration duties to join our Emergency Department.
This is a customer service focused role and the shifts cover afternoon and night shift including weekends. We are a 24/7 department and availability and flexibility for all hours are essential for this role.
You will be the first point of contact for patients. The administration team supports all other clinical teams in the department. This includes our Short Stay Observation Unit, and Paediatrics. We also provide broader support across the hospital including, inpatient ward admissions, transfers, and discharges.
About you
You possess strong data entry and customer service skills, with exceptional communication and attention to detail. You demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care and consistently strive to deliver high-quality administrative support. You bring energy, professionalism, and initiative to your role, with a genuine interest in developing your skills and contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is essential.
