Are you an experienced and passionate restaurant professional looking to take the next step in your career? Mai Gai', a leading restaurant in Everton Park, Queensland, is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to join their talented team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all our guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ensure high standards of food and beverage quality and presentation
  • Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, including scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting
  • Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the front-of-house team
  • Assist in the implementation of marketing and promotional activities
  • Contribute to the overall success and growth of the restaurant

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in inventory management, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu design and pricing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
