As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced and motivated HSE Manager to lead our Health, Safety, Environment & Quality strategy across our business operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the HSEQ Manager will oversee all aspects of health, safety environmental and quality compliance across KingKira Group's diverse operations.
You will play a key leadership role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring legislative compliance, and driving continual improvement in HSEQ performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of the HSEQ Management System across mining, oil & gas, infrastructure and environmental services
- Provide hands-on leadership and mentoring to site-based teams on safety, environmental and quality practices.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety and quality audits, incident investigations, and ensure timely close-out of corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with WHS legislation, client standards, and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 frameworks.
- Maintain compliance with Quality certification, client standards, and ISO 9001 frameworks
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure safe work planning, hazard identification, and effective controls.
- Report on HSEQ performance metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities to management and clients.
- Drive engagement through toolbox talks, leadership walk-arounds, and proactive consultation with workers.
About You:
You are a passionate HSEQ professional with a proven ability to influence safety culture, manage quality and engage teams across multiple projects and industries.
You bring a mix of practical field experience and strong system knowledge, with the confidence to lead by example.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Work Health & Safety & Quality (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a HSE/Quality leadership role within mining, oil & gas, infrastructure and environmental services Strong understanding of WHS legislation, Quality systems, risk management, and environmental compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage incident investigations, audits, and reporting processes.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Current Driver's Licence and ability to travel to regional sites as required.
Desirable:
- ICAM / TapRoot investigation certification.
- Lead Auditor (Safety / Environment /Quality) qualification.
- Experience working within Aboriginal-owned or community-driven organisations.
