Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Disability Support Professional located in Melbourne, VIC. The Disability Support Professional will be responsible for providing direct care and support to clients with diverse needs. Daily tasks may include assisting with personal care, facilitating community engagement, performing household tasks, and supporting clients with high intensity activities. The role also involves effective communication with clients and their families, documenting clients' progress, and ensuring the client's environment is safe and supportive.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Personal Care and supporting Daily Living Activities
  • Skills in Community Engagement and Social Support
  • Competence in handling High Intensity Daily Personal Activities and Community Nursing
  • Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of NDIS frameworks and guidelines is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in Disability Support or Community Services
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
