About the role

Statewide Vehicle Hoist is seeking a full-time Automotive Hoist Installer / Service Technician to join our team in Redbank Plains, Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for the automotive industry, who is eager to develop their skills and contribute to the growth of our business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Install and maintain a range of automotive hoists and related equipment at customer sites
  2. Provide technical support and troubleshoot any issues with installed equipment
  3. Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on hoists and other equipment
  4. Liaise with customers to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction
  5. Assist with the preparation of quotes and estimates for new installations and service work
  6. Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality

What we're looking for

  1. Strong interest and knowledge of the automotive industry, with or without prior experience as a technician
  2. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  3. Good communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with clients
  4. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  5. Willingness to learn and expand your skillset
  6. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
