About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Graduate Research Coordinator, the Senior Graduate Research Engagement Officer plays a key role in enhancing the experience of graduate research candidates and their supervisors. The position is responsible for managing day-to-day activities that support the HDR candidate journey, including coordination of flagship events such as the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, researcher development initiatives, and supervisor accreditation processes.

The role delivers high-level administrative support to candidates, academic staff, and key stakeholders, ensuring consistent and responsive service. By managing complex processes and providing expert policy guidance, the Senior Graduate Research Engagement Officer contributes to continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency. This position also acts as a delegate for the Senior Graduate Research Coordinator when required, supporting leadership continuity within the Graduate Research School.

• Total remuneration valued to $124,509 - $134,699 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $105,212 - $113,823 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
• Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
