About the role

Are you an experienced Conveyor Belt Technician or Belt Splicer looking for an exciting new challenge? This full-time role based in Prstons, NSW offers the opportunity to join the team at Chiorino Australia, a leading provider of conveyor belting solutions. As a Conveyor Belt Technician/Belt Splicer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing conveyor systems for our diverse range of industrial clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Inspect, diagnose and repair conveyor belt systems
  • Perform belt splicing and joining tasks using specialised techniques and equipment
  • Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor belts and components
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to customers regarding conveyor belt selection, installation and operation
  • Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken
  • Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all relevant safety standards

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Belt Splicer, ideally within the Trades & Services industry
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of conveyor belt systems, including splicing, maintenance and repair
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and provide technical guidance
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
