Compliance Specialist

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Compliance professional to join a leading global financial services business, supporting operations across Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Compliance & Risk, you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal governance standards across Corporate, Funds, and Capital Markets business lines.
- Hybrid working arrangments
- Salary $135K + super + bonus
Key responsibilities:
- Provide independent compliance advice on client acceptance and business matters
- Liaise with ASIC, FMA, and other regulators
- Conduct compliance monitoring, reviews, and thematic audits
- Support AFSL obligations, licensed entity governance, and regulatory reporting
- Deliver compliance training and support internal investigations
- Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen risk and control frameworks
About you:
- 5+ years' experience in compliance, ideally within financial or professional services
- Strong knowledge of ASIC and FMA regulations and AFSL requirements
- Experience with trustee, escrow, or agency services advantageous
