About the Role

We are seeking committed and caring Disability/Aged Care Support Workers to join our growing team. As part of Eminence Care, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to achieve their goals, maintain independence, and engage meaningfully within their community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Support community participation and social engagement through activities and outings
  • Assist with domestic tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Promote independence through individualised support plans
  • Assist with manual handling and hoist transfers where required
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with NDIS standards
  • Uphold client confidentiality, safety, and respect at all times

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 6 months experience in disability or aged care support
  • Knowledge of the NDIS framework and client-focused care
  • Experience with manual handling, hoist use, and behaviour management
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Valid Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian work rights or valid work visa

Desirable Attributes:

  • Enjoyment in social engagement and cooking activities
  • Experience assisting individuals with physical or mobility limitations
  • Positive, proactive attitude and emotional resilience

Pay: $39.00 – $45.00 per hour
