  • Provide expert technical advice and complex problem-solving support across project planning, delivery, operations, and maintenance.
  • Lead environmental audits and risk assessments aligned with ISO14001 and Seqwater's certified environmental management system, including coordination of external and regulator audits.
  • Undertake investigations into complex environmental incidents, liaising with Local, State, and Commonwealth regulators and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external environmental reporting and incident management support to meet Seqwater's compliance obligations.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related field, with four or more years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience translating environmental legislation and applying policies and procedures to operational and project activities.

  • Experience in environmental management of project-related activities and risks, including developing environmental management plans and resolving project-related environmental issues.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills to identify practical solutions to environmental challenges.
  • Experience in environmental incident management and conducting site/project-based environmental audits (EMS lead auditor qualifications desirable).
