Join Australia's most iconic independent music and entertainment company for a 9-month fixed-term parental leave contract, with an immediate start.

Our Finance team plays a key role in supporting the Melbourne-based companies across the Mushroom Group, managing all financial, commercial and management accounting functions, including treasury, accounts payable, payroll and accounts receivable.

We're looking for a Finance Administrator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and brings a sharp eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to supporting business operations.

You'll be based between our two offices in Port Melbourne and South Melbourne, working closely with a passionate and supportive team.

What Will You Be Doing


• Undertake a range of finance administration tasks including bank and credit card reconciliations, invoice coding, purchase and sales order processing, and ledger review.


• Organise and code Accounts Payable invoices for processing by the Shared Services team.


• Manage the Accounts Receivable function and debtor follow-up.


• Perform reconciliations of clearing and intercompany accounts.


• Enter and maintain sales data across the Merchandise Division.


• Process settlements for venues, merchandisers and artists.


• Create and maintain Square Locations and Items.


• Assist with finance admin tasks such as project setups, supplier and customer account creation, and invoicing.


• Provide support to the wider Finance team with ad-hoc finance and administrative activities.

What We're Looking For


• Previous experience in a Finance Administration or Accounting role.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.


• Solid understanding of financial and compliance principles.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite.


• A team player who values collaboration, accuracy, and efficiency.
