About the Role

As a Lending Consultant in our Suncorp Bank - Contact Centre team, you'll be a trusted guide for customers; helping them navigate their lending and banking needs with clarity and care.

We offer a true hybrid work experience, with a 50-50 balance between in-office presence and remote work. Once you've completed training and are comfortable in your role, you'll enjoy the flexibility of splitting your time between home and the office—empowering you to do your best work, wherever you are.

Our contact centre operates Monday to Friday, between 8AM and 7PM, giving you the chance to work within a range of hours that supports both structure and flexibility.

Work Hours: Multiple vacancies; full time and part-time roles

What will your day look like?

As a Lending Consultant, you will:

• Be the customer's champion. Listen, empathise, and provide solutions that meet customer needs
• Master the art of communication. Share information clearly, confidently, and compassionately across channels like phone, webchat, email, and social media
• Navigate complexity with ease. Juggle multiple platforms, manage customer accounts, and deliver exceptional service under pressure
• Adapt and grow. Embrace feedback, pivot when needed, and build a rock-solid foundation for your future in finance
• Drive results. Stay focused, solution-oriented, and resilient in pursuit of personal and team goals

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Proven success in a customer service role—bonus points if it was fast-paced
• Genuine interest in a career in banking
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence or interest in working across multiple service channels such as telephony and digital platforms
• A knack for multitasking and staying organised under pressure
• Commitment to self-improvement and long-term career goals
