Internal Sales - Cobar

As a key player in the mining and industrial supply chain, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality products and exceptional service to our clients. Now, we're looking for an enthusiastic team member to help us continue that legacy.

About the Role

As an Internal Salesperson, you'll play a vital role in our team, not just as the friendly face that welcomes customers, but as a key contributor to delivering exceptional service and support. Your strengths in handling enquiries, preparing quotes, and sourcing the right products for our customers will be essential to your success in this fast-paced and rewarding role.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

·       Answering incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency.

·       Provide exceptional retail sales assistance to all walk-in customers.

·       General administrative tasks with attention to detail by following administrative processes and procedures to ensure proper workflow.

·       Ensuring the front counter and showroom are kept spotless to ensure an inviting environment for customers.

·       Loading customer sales orders and preparing quotes on SAP.

·       Completing customer backorder reports.

·       Updating supplier purchase order due dates.

·       Invoicing goods and managing invoice distribution to customers.

·       General filing and administration of paperwork as well as daily banking tasks.

·       Assist in stock taking when required.

·       Assisting the store person when needed.

·       Uphold stringent safety standards and procedures.

·       Professional and courteous phone etiquette.

·       Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

·       Exceptional organisational skills to manage varied tasks efficiently.

·       Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.

·       A basic understanding of Microsoft products.

·       A basic knowledge of SAP or similar program will be an advantage but not necessary as training will be provided.

As well as the above you MUST HAVE

a current drivers licence.
