MACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking an experienced Expediting & Procurement Officer to join our growing team here in West Perth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance and update of registers specific to procurement.
  • Processing requisitions to allow purchase order creation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assisting in the creation of contract and tender documents.
  • Create and manage the logistics freight plan per project.
  • Liaise with freight companies and suppliers regarding timely deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Process and complete shipping, expediting and delivery of finished goods including packaging labelling, shipping/consignment documentation.
  • Expedite, optimise and consolidate of freight.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Five (5) + years' experience in procurement/expediting.
  • Record of successfully working in projects in the mining and minerals industry.
  • Experience with remote construction projects.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft office and IT systems.
  • Stakeholder engagement – able to build strong working relationships.
  • Strong attention to deal with the ability problem solve.
