About the Role
We are seeking Residential Care Officers with a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities who have a range of support needs in community-based residential settings across Melbourne.
You will play a key role in helping our participants achieve their goals, develop life skills, and participate in daily and recreational activities. Shifts are available across a rotating 7-day roster (mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, and active nights), offering flexibility and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement person-centred care and support plans.
- Monitor participants' health and emotional wellbeing, reporting concerns appropriately.
- Organise and facilitate social, recreational, and community activities.
- Promote and support independence in daily living tasks such as cooking, hygiene, and mobility.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and incident reports.
- Collaborate with families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful home environment.
- Comply with safeguarding and NDIS practice standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Current and valid Driver's Licence
First Aid & CPR Certificate
National Police Check (within 12 months)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You
NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or related field
Manual Handling Training
COVID-19 Double Vaccination Certificate
Right to Work in Australia
