Hays Recruitment are pleased to support the urgent recruitment of a highly motivated Business Support Officer to work within the Queensland Government, starting ASAP for 6 weeks with a possible extension, based in Cairns.

Your new role

  • Work order management functions
  • Analysis of large volumes of financial and non-financial data using Excel
  • Reduction of WO exceptions
  • Use of shared mailbox
  • Meetings with supervisors to deal with CAM exceptions.
  • Teamwork and results focussed

What you'll need to succeed

We are seeking a well-presented, professional and team-focused Business Support Officer who is great at numbers, analytical with great attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, with high organisational skills, and the ability to communicate.
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills are mandatory.
  • Must be able to communicate with internal and external customers
  • Have general administration and internal customer service experience
  • Ability to work in new systems
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Time Management Skills
  • Problem-Solving skills
