Westside ENT is a well-established, multi-site specialist Ear, Nose & Throat practice located in Ipswich and Western Suburbs. Known for our commitment to exceptional patient care and clinical excellence, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead our daily operations and support our continued growth.


About the Role

As our Practice Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the smooth and efficient running of all clinic operations. You'll be responsible for managing administrative processes, HR functions, compliance, and financial performance, while also supporting a dedicated clinical team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple clinic locations
  • Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, rostering, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare and relevant healthcare regulations
  • Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and maintain accurate records
  • Develop, implement, and monitor practice policies and procedures
  • Supervise patient bookings, billing, and front desk workflows
  • Liaise effectively with clinic directors, ENT specialists, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders
  • Drive and implement quality improvement and efficiency initiatives

About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager or in a senior healthcare administration role
  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare billing processes
  • Proficiency with practice management software (Gentu highly regarded)
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills
  • High-level organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of HR processes and relevant employment legislation
  • Strong financial and business acumen

Desirable:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Practice Management, Business Administration, or similar
  • Experience with surgical billing and private health fund processes
