**The Role**

In this position you'll be assisting with the day-to-day administrative and chair-side clinical duties of a busy, family-owned dentist practice in Ipswich. In addition to the hands-on management experience you'll receive, you'll be able to utilise your organisational skills to help undertake and improve clerical and clinical tasks within the business.

If you're wondering what your day to day will look like, you'll typically find yourself:

- Working several days a week, acting as the first point of contact for all existing, new and potential clients of the practice
- Providing clerical and chair-side clinical support
- Scheduling appointments
- Managing bookkeeping
- Patient billing and banking
- Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls
- Chair side assistance including 4-handed dentistry
- Reprocessing and sterilization of instruments
- Taking meeting minutes
- Working with the wider practice team and to help overcome any issues that may arise

Though, it doesn't hurt to also have;
- Experience in a similar role
- Sound computer literacy - including use of accounting software and dental practice management software (Exact, ideal)
- A reliable vehicle to get yourself to and from work

- Well organised and proactively offer solutions based on patient requests
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and a cool demeanour under pressure
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A ‘can-do’ attitude along with caring and compassion

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newtown, QLD 4035: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
