We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for the stability and performance of our development and production environments, driving continuous improvement across infrastructure, deployment processes, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities


• Build, manage and support development and production environments in collaboration with engineering teams.


• Monitor system performance and reliability; proactively respond to incidents and outages.


• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.


• Implement automation to improve system efficiency, reliability and scalability.


• Manage updates, deployments, and environment changes using infrastructure-as-code principles.


• Participate in architectural reviews and system analysis to support technical decision-making.


• Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.


• Ensure systems meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements.


• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of DevOps and SRE practices.

About You


• Proven experience (5–10 years) in infrastructure/platform and DevOps roles.


• Proficient with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and AWS (or similar cloud platforms).


• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. Python, Bash).


• Solid understanding of GitLab/GitHub CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting tools.


• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and supporting software development lifecycles.


• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent experience is highly regarded.


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.


• Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.


• The successful candidate must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government AGVA security clearance.
