The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Claims Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of the claims process across our portfolio. This is a key client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, strong technical knowledge, and a client-first mindset.

This role is also a fantastic steppingstone for career progression, with a clear pathway to move into broking or broker assistant positions within our organisation. Whether you're looking to specialise further in claims or develop a broader career in insurance broking, this role is a strong foundation.

Key Responsibilities


• Manage end-to-end claims processes for all classes of insurance (domestic and commercial).


• Liaise with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and service providers to ensure timely resolution.


• Advocate for clients throughout the claims process, providing support and clarity.


• Maintain accurate records of claims progress and documentation.


• Provide regular updates to brokers and clients regarding claim status.


• Identify trends in claims and provide feedback to improve policy coverage and risk mitigation strategies.

About You

You're empathetic, calm under pressure, and highly organised. You understand the importance of timely communication and strive to make the claims process as smooth as possible for clients.

Key Requirements


• Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance claims or insurance products, ideally in a claims handling role (either within a brokerage or on the insurer side).


• Tier 2 qualification or willingness to obtain.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Exceptional attention to detail and time management.


• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.


• Experience using insurance systems such as Insight and Sunrise (preferred).
