About the role:

Clarity Partners is partnering with a well-established civil construction contractor that has been delivering complex projects across Western Australia for more than two decades, with a strong presence in civil, mining, and construction.

We are seeking a Civil Estimator to join the Perth-based team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in pricing and securing projects across WA – from bulk earthworks and road construction to drainage, concrete structures, and service installations. You won't just be crunching numbers; you'll be identifying risks, opportunities, and value-add solutions that help the business win and deliver the right projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret tender documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare clear, competitive, and compliant cost estimates.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source accurate pricing.
  • Assess risks, opportunities, and alternative methodologies for project delivery.
  • Collaborate with directors, engineers, and project managers in tender preparation.
  • Contribute to the submission of winning tenders that align with business objectives.

Who Are You?

  • You have 3–10 years of estimating experience in civil, mining, or construction.
  • Strong technical understanding of scopes such as earthworks, road construction, structural steel, concrete, drainage, demolition, and services installation.
  • Highly detail-oriented, but with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture.
  • Confident communicator with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
