We are seeking experienced estimators to join our leading civil and mining teams. With strong pipelines across infrastructure, mining, and construction works, these roles offer long-term stability and the chance to contribute to major projects across the state.

About the Estimation Role

The estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions. This will involve reviewing and interpreting drawings, specifications, and project scope, as well as liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and evaluate pricing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions.
  • Reviewing and interpreting project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and scope.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to obtain and evaluate pricing information.
  • Supporting risk reviews, pricing strategies, and tender methodologies.
  • Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams through bid handover.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Intermediate Estimator: 3+ years' experience in civil/construction estimating, strong technical grounding, and ambition to step up into larger projects.
  • Senior Estimator: 7+ years' experience delivering end-to-end tenders across civil and infrastructure projects, with proven ability to manage large bids and guide junior estimators.
  • Proficiency with estimating software (Expert Estimation, Candy, CostX, or similar).
  • Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
