About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team, responsible for developing accurate civil estimates for a wide range of Civil and Structural projects.

  • The successful candidate will review, analyse and apply project plans, specifications, and scopes of work to deliver high-quality estimates.
  • They will prepare and send out supplier and subcontract packages, negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotes, and collaborate with the tender and construction team to develop effective construction methodologies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field or trade qualifications.
  • At least 10 years' experience in the Civil Construction industry, preferably with field experience.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools, ideally Expert software and MS Excel.
  • Strong project planning skills, including proficiency in MS Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate first principles estimates and submission documents within tight deadlines.
