This Technical Business Analyst role sits in our Enterprise Platforms technology team where you'll play a key role in the ongoing development and enhancement of our Player Account Management (PAM) platform.

This is a 12-month contract role, based in our Brisbane CBD office. We offer a flexible, hybrid work environment that blends remote work with on-site presence as needed to meet project deliverables. Please note, this role will be engaged as a contractor, on assignment at the Lottery Corporation through Hudson RPO.

What you'll do

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for custom software solutions related to the PAM platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, product, engineering, regulatory and legal to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business language.
  • Map current and future state processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Support solution design, testing, and implementation phases with traceable requirements and user stories.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs to gather insights and validate understanding.
  • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and audit standards.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in custom software development environments, ideally with exposure to large-scale account management or transactional platforms.
  • Lead the analysis and documentation of business needs, working closely with legal and regulatory teams to ensure alignment.
  • Prior experience in software development or the ability to read and understand code to effectively collaborate with developers and interpret system behaviours.
  • Use tools like Confluence, Jira, and agile ways of working to raise user stories, track progress, and keep things moving in a collaborative way.
  • Experience working in regulated industries with a solid grasp of compliance and governance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, IIBA, Agile BA) are a plus.
